What is 4-H?

4-H is a volunteer led program that provides opportunities to all rural and urban youth between the ages of 8-18 to participate in innovative, “learn by doing” fun programs through which they can develop valuable, lifelong skills.

4-H is one of the largest youth development programs in the United States, involving 6 million youth, 60 million Alumni, 600,000 youth and adult volunteers, and 1,000 “learn by doing” programs ranging from robotics and biotechnology to visual arts and agriculture.  4-H is established in every county of every state of the Nation and there are currently 13

4-H clubs in Hughes, Stanley, and Sully Counties.

4-H Pledge

I Pledge my head to clearer thinking,

my heart to greater loyalty,

my hands to larger service,

and my health to better living,

for my club, my community, my country, and my world.
