STANLEY COUNTY COMMISSION MINUTES
OCTOBER 3, 2019
The special meeting of the Stanley County Commission was called to order at 10:00 a.m. (CDT) by Chairman Dana Iversen with Commissioners, Dennis Booth, Mike Kenzy, Craig Heller and Sonny Harrowa. Also present were Highway Superintendent Lee Smith, State’s Attorney Tom P. Maher, Director of Equalization Roger Fuller, Highway Assistant Keva Briggs, Auctioneers Don Bourk and Gilbert Hart, Cody Hostler, Tim Hughes, James Huebner and Auditor Philena Burtch.
AGENDA: Motion by Craig Heller, second by Sonny Harrowa, to approve the Agenda. All voted Aye. Motion Carried.
Sale of County Shop – 213 Stanley Road
Motion by Sonny Harrowa, second by Craig Heller, to appoint three Stanley County property owners, Tim Hughes of Bottom Line Welding; Cody Hostler of Sioux Nation Supply; and James Huebner of Garage Doors Etc., to serve as volunteer appraisal committee to review the land and building of the County property located at 213 Stanley Road to be auctioned and file a report. The committee filed a report regarding the property value, estimating it at $260,000.00. All voted Aye. Motion Carried.
Chairman Iversen declared recess at 10:03 A.M.
Chairman Iversen declared to reconvene at 10:20 A.M.
Executive Session – Legal – SDCL 1-25-2(3): Motion by Dennis Booth, second by Craig Heller, to go into Executive Session-Legal-SDCL 1-25-2(3) at 10:20 A.M. All voted Aye. Motion Carried.
Chairman Iversen declared to reconvene at 10:22 A.M.

Motion by Sonny Harrowa, second by Craig Heller, to accept the standing bid for the County property located at 213 Stanley Road of $275,000.00. All voted Aye. Motion Carried.
ADJOURN: Motion by Dennis Booth, second by Craig Heller, to adjourn at 10:47 A.M (CT). All Voted Aye. Motion Carried.
