STANLEY COUNTY COMMISSION
August 8, 2017
The special meeting of the Stanley County Commission was called to order at 5:00 P.M.(CDT) by Chairman Dana Iversen with Commissioners Dennis Booth, Craig Heller and Sonny Harrowa present. Commissioner Scott Deal was absent. Also present was Highway Superintendent Lee Smith and Auditor Philena Edwards. The meeting commenced with the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance.
Agenda: Motion by Craig Heller, second by Sonny Harrowa, to approve the Agenda. All voted Aye. Motion Carried.
Executive Session – Personnel – SDCL 1-25-2(1): Motion by Sonny Harrowa, second by Craig Heller, to go into Executive Session-Personnel-SDCL1-25-2(1) at 5:01 P.M. All voted Aye. Motion Carried.
Motion by Dennis Booth, second by Craig Heller, to reconvene at 7:54 P.M. All voted Aye. Motion Carried.
Discussion: The additional stalls for the 4-H Finals Rodeo are getting closer to being completed. Dana will rope off the dirt part of the fairgrounds parking lot for day parking, all other horse trailers need to park behind the equine signs and ‘No Livestock Trailers Parking’ signs will be posted along Casey Tibbs Street.
