STANLEY COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION
APRIL 16, 2013
MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS

The Stanley County Board of Equalization was called to order at 5:07 p.m. (CDT) by Chairman Dana Iversen on April 17, 2013, with members Dennis Booth, Scott Deal, and Brian Scott present.  Ronnie Heckenlaible was absent. 

Members of the Board subscribed to the Oath of Office as a Board of Equalization.

 ATTENDANCE:  In attendance at the meeting were Assistant Director of Equalization David Reiss, State’s Attorney Tom P. Maher, Auditor Karen Sharp, Dennis Hanson and Dan Henderson.

 DISABLED AND SENIOR CITIZENS’ TAX FREEZES:  Motion by Scott, second by Booth, to accept and approve Disabled and Senior Citizens’ Tax Freezes as presented.  All voted Aye.  Motion Carried.

 LISTING OF EXEMPT PROPERTIES:  Motion by Booth, second by Scott, to accept and approve Listing of Exempt Properties as presented.  All voted Aye.  Motion Carried.

 ADJUSTMMENTS AND CORRECTIONS TO DOE BOOKS:  None

 ADDITION OF OMITTED PROPERTIES:  None

 APPEALS:  #2013-01 – Missouri Rivers Edge, LLC – Americ Inn Hotel – Appeal of property value on Teton Island Addition Lot 19, City of Fort Pierre.  Motion by Booth, second by Deal, to lower the assessed value to $4,910,153.00.   All voted Aye.  Motion Carried.

#2013-02 – Legend, LLC – Appeal of property value on Teton Island Addition Lot 8, City of Fort Pierre.  Motion by Booth, second by Scott, to lower the assessed value to $839,661.00.  All voted Aye.  Motion Carried.

ADJOURNMENT:  There being o further business before the Board of Equalization for 2013, the Board adjourned at 6:15 p.m. (CDT).
